What’s new: rewards just got optimistic! P00LS can index any NFT on the Optimism chains. So what are we, at P00LS, making possible on Optimism, at a more granular level?
Indexing NFT Activity: every NFT on the Optimism chains is now on the P00LS' radar and eligible for token rewards. Rewarding on Optimism: creators can now recognize their engaged fans by distributing tokens to those who collect NFTs minted on Optimism. Expanding the Ecosystem: collectors who own Optimism NFTs from platforms like Sound.xyz and others can now play a part in the loyalty programs of their favorite creators, receiving rewards for new forms of engagement. And our creators are already taking advantage of our recent Optimism integration.
For some context: Manifold and Sound have successfully integrated with the Optimism blockchain, which has led to a surge in NFT releases on the platform. Our very own P00LS creator, Shilly, minted both of his soundxyz NFTs on Optimism, for example.
We’re starting to see a lot of creators opting for the enhanced scalability and lower transaction fees Optimism offers, and it’s not just creators. Base being built on the Optimism technology stack showcases its capabilities, and we’re happy to say we’re keeping up with the trend!
Given Optimism’s benefits and alignment with Ethereum, the platform is continuing to garner support from key players in the Ethereum community. So, it was only natural we explore and execute on this integration. Adoption by major projects tells us Optimism will continue to develop, refine and improve as a protocol.
